Education for leisure is part of education for life and students are expected to play a full part in the extra-curricular life of the College and to develop their skills and talents outside the classroom. There is a choice of clubs and activities at lunchtime and after school, and occasionally at weekends. These may include sports, debating, art, drama, dance, choir, Amnesty International, school magazine, computing, exploring Czech castles, and many others. There are trips abroad to the UK, Germany, Austria, France or Spain.
Various events are organised during the year. These include the Graduation Ball, a Christmas concert of music and readings, the IB Art exhibition and annual Prize-Giving and Graduation ceremony.
Students are also involved in charitable activities. They have raised money to help set up a children's hospice and restore theatres in Prague damaged by floods in 2002. Our musicians have entertained local elderly people and raised money to benefit refugees from Kosovo. We have aided the work of the Red Cross both in Prague and Palestine, support two children in India and have links with a school in Afghanistan.
