These computers are primarily for word processing and printing, but they can be also used for Internet research connected with educational purposes. There are also CD-ROM drives installed in the computers so that any of the library's CD-ROM resources can be accessed in the library. Use of unauthorised CDs on the schools computers is strictly forbidden. Please negotiate with the librarian if you wish to use your private authorised CD on the library computer.
Each student is allowed to use the computer for a twenty minute period, then has to log off and let another waiting fellow students to use the computer. The student may be permitted to use the computer for longer than twenty minutes if there is no demand for it.

More about Catalogue

Colour TV set with video- and DVD player
The Library has a fair collection of videos and DVDs. Since they are issued over the weekend only, we make an effort to allow students to view these materials anytime during the library opening hours within the library.
There is a colour TV/video combo set with a DVD player plugged in. Using the TV set requires silence during watching (no giggles please) and using of a pair of headphones. Headphones, together with remote control will be issued to student in exchange to his/her library card.
There is also the possibility of two people watching the TV set at the same time (again the library cards will be required).

Conditions of use

Radio-tape recorder
Since there are some books on tape, Easy readers with a tape and a few language grammar books with tapes, the library also provides a tape recorder. It is located next to the TV set and here again, you will be asked to wear a pair of headphones while listening to the radio or tapes and expected to be silent. The conditions of use are much the same as for the TV set.

Photocopier machine
This is a black and white photocopier machine. It prints A4 format. Both-sided copies are maintained manually.
You are expected to pay before you copy. There is a 20-copies per student per day limit. If you are not sure how many copies are you going to make, just leave your library card with the librarian and you will pay after you have finished. If you do not have any money on you at that moment, the debt can be put on your readers' account and you can pay it later. (However - you have to pay it before you want to borrow any other item from the library. A reader with debts or overdue material cannot borrow anything.)
