Physical Education is an important part of the curriculum for Years 1-4. The emphasis is on the enjoyment of physical activity, health and fitness awareness and sport for all,
through
gymnastics, ball games, athletics and swimming.
The College also offers a wide range of extra-curricular physical activities from table tennis, badminton, soccer, volleyball, jogging, cycling and rock-climbing to aerobics and martial arts. In the winter skiing and snowboarding trips are organized in the Czech Republic or abroad. In the summer, there are opportunities for camping, cycling and canoeing.
The College also participates in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. This involves group problem-solving, decision-making, team work and taking responsibility for looking after each other. Students take part in an expedition which challenges their endurance, both physical and psychological, and fosters initiative, perseverance and self-reliance.
