Teaching and other Vacancies at the College

TEACHER OF BIOLOGY, commencing September 2010

A well qualified, innovative and enthusiastic graduate is required from September 2010 to teach Biology at IGCSE and IB. The candidate must be a fluent English speaker. Candidates must be willing to teach throughout this 13-19 HMC Mixed Day School which prepares Czech and international students for the IGCSE and IB. The ability to offer a second subject and experience of IB would be an advantage. In particular experience of, or willingness to teach, IB Environmental Systems and Societies, would be very welcome. All teachers are expected to play a pastoral role in the School and help with extra-curricular activities.

TEACHER OF HISTORY, commencing September 2010

A well qualified, innovative and enthusiastic graduate is required from September 2010 to teach History at IGCSE and IB. The candidate must be a fluent English speaker. Candidates must be willing to teach throughout this 13-19 HMC Mixed Day School which prepares Czech and international students for the IGCSE and IB. The ability to offer a second subject, particularly Economics, and experience of IB would be an advantage. The History department teaches modern world History at IGCSE and IB and the candidate would need to be comfortable teaching these periods. All teachers are expected to play a pastoral role in the School and help with extra-curricular activities.

TEACHER OF MATHEMATICS, commencing September 2010

Candidates must be willing to teach throughout this 13-19 HMC Mixed Day School which prepares Czech and international students for the IGCSE and IB. Experience of IB would be an advantage. All teachers are expected to play a pastoral role in the School and help with extra-curricular activities.
