Vojtěch Bureš


Vojtěch graduated from the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory of Music in Prague with a degree in electric guitar. He holds a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

As well as teaching music for over 15 years, Vojtěch is the founder of the band DOCTOR VICTOR and of the international music school, the Doctor Victor Music Academy in Prague. He has played with his band in Europe, USA and Asia, supporting world famous stars such as AC/DC, Jack White and The Dead Daisies.

Vojtěch is dedicated to studio production, composition and is the winner of several international competitions. The song Can’t Stop Rock’n’Roll became a finalist winner in the rock category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in New York in 2019 and he has collaborated with Ida Nielsen (Prince) and with Dan McCafferty of Nazareth on his solo album. He has also worked for various companies in the commercial music industry.

He joined the ECP in 2022 and his goal is to awaken a greater interest in music among students and to motivate them to develop artistically. Vojtěch firmly believes that music has a positive effect on self-confidence, communication and creativity.
